This semester Taylor has been a full-time student at the University of Northern Iowa. Yes, he has been taking a class here or there throughout his military career but this is the first time since High School that he has been a full-time student. This week he is on Thanksgiving break. I think he almost forgot how nice it is to have a break from reading, writing papers, doing home, attending class all day, everyday…
Anyways he was really excited for this vacation. He even put in his phone’s calendar, to remind him that vacation started today (as if he needed a reminder…) This feeling of freedom from such a strict academic schedule made us reminisce back to high school and what his vacations looked like then.
