This past weekend Taylor and I went down to Chattanooga, TN for an event with Honoring The Sacrifice, a non-profit that our friends Tori and Andrew started over a year ago. We were extremely excited about sponsoring such a great organization with invaluable insight into what other wounded warriors need.  We were also excited for the good excuse to get together with most of our hospital friends. I seriously love our reunions!  This group of friends is irreplaceable!

Tori signed up for a speech, but it got pushed back and ended up being the day before the big Honoring the Sacrifice function, that she had worked SO SO SO hard on.  She was stressed to the max.  I jokingly told her if she needed to kill some  time I would get up there and tell a couple jokes.  She immediately responded, “I am calling the lady now to see if we can split it.” Instead of her speaking for a half hour, we both spoke for 15 minutes.  This is what I call divide and conquer!

After the speech, The Mills family got in and the Mullee family arrived!! Time to BBQ!

The night before Travis was telling us about how he wanted to swim with sharks.  He was extremely excited about this shark cage 🙂

After the aquarium we blew our own glass ornaments! Such a cool experience!

Taylor spoke about how Honoring the Sacrifice has personally helped him and how the organization is set up to do so much good for so many people in need!  He spoke with such grace and conviction! Always so proud of him!

These boys injuries brought us together and created a bond that is unbreakable!!
